Frequently asked questions

What is AsiaTender Watch?

A daily digest of World Bank-financed procurement notices for energy, power, renewables and water projects in South and Southeast Asia. It lists open tenders with deadlines and recent contract awards, with links to every original notice.

Where does the data come from?

From the World Bank's public procurement notices API, which the World Bank publishes under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. We filter, tag and summarise it. We are not affiliated with the World Bank.

How often is it updated?

Once a day. The site refreshes automatically, and the daily email goes out after the refresh.

Which countries are covered?

India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives, Afghanistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and Timor-Leste, whenever the World Bank publishes notices for them.

How are sectors decided?

By keywords in the notice title, such as solar, transmission, substation, water supply, sanitation and irrigation. It is fast but not perfect, so always check the original notice.

Can I bid through AsiaTender Watch?

No. Bids go to the borrower's implementing agency, as the notice says. We help you find opportunities and see who won past contracts.

What does it cost?

The waitlist and weekly sample are free. Paid plans (Starter $19/mo, Pro $49/mo, Team API $149/mo) are planned and not on sale yet.

How do I unsubscribe or delete my data?

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. For deletion or access requests, email tenders@yarko.trade.
