India had 414 energy and water notices in our sample: 343 contract awards, 66 invitations for bids and 5 requests for expression of interest. 257 used Request for Quotations and 119 used Request for Bids, which points to many small, fast packages, often under state-level water and rural programmes.
Of the awarded-bidder entries, 354 were Indian firms. If you are a supplier in India, the fastest wins are RFQs with short deadlines, so a daily alert matters more than a weekly one. If you are an international firm, focus on the RFB packages and consulting assignments.
